There are many things that still work in internet marketing online.    The basics are still here.  People are searching for things by the millions.   You can use the keyword tools to find what they are actually typing in to Google. (Winner)  You know what they want,  you just have to find the solution to their problem.  And Show it to Them!

So how can you make money with internet marketing online?

Here are some strategies that are working in 2011

1.   Creating your own product by copying what others are selling-  Make your own version,  sell it the same way they are, copy their marketing system and get affiliates to sell your product.

2.   Niche blogs – with unique content (lots of it), SEO backlinks needed,  Build an email list and promote affiliate offers to the list.  Don’t have many ads on your blog.  Use the list to sell things.

3.   Video Marketing- post videos around the web with links to offers.   How to videos are always popular.  Secret tip videos are eagerly sought after especially if you give great tips.

4.   Article marketing is not as powerful anymore but you can use them for backlinks

5.   Document sharing sites are a great way to get ranked in the search engines.   Put up great free content with links.

6.  Blog commenting is still effective if you link to great content on your site.  It’s about the only way to get a link in your comment approved.   Great stuff only, not a lot of promoting offers on the page.

7.  Content sites will always work no matter what Google does.    Takes a lot of time but in the right profitable niche, these can get a lot of traffic.

8.   Build a list with a squeeze page-  This is a winner but you can’t just give away a free report or ebook anymore.   It takes a large bundle of gifts to get people to opt in anymore.

9.   Free Webinars-  This is nice breakthrough for us marketers.  Now there are easy and free places to run your own webinar.  try out anymeeting.com   Start giving a weekly webinar on a popular topic.   People like to chat before they buy things.   This is your chance to talk to your customers.

You can lead them right into the offer.   By giving them some great tips,  answering questions and talking live to your potential customers.  You can sell them live.   This is huge.    The conversions are amazing.   Offer them value,  let them talk, convince them about your offer all live one on one communication.

Think of it like this,  say you have a salespage or even an affiliate review on your page.    Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have a conversation live with your visitor?    Wouldn’t they like to get a question answered immediately before they hit buy?   It is live interaction.

Plus a webinar can be recorded.   Now you can put that video up on your salespage.

Anyone can do a webinar.  Your just setting up a room,  inviting people to chat and learn about something.  Just be yourself,  don’t be salesy until the very end of the webinar and only after getting people excited and pumped up.  Then you just tell them about the special offer just for them and how they can get it.

If I was starting out in internet marketing online today,  I would be using webinars immediately.   Instead of asking for a sale or opt in.  Invite them to a live event for free.
